Green Valley

Come In and Explore The Emerald in the Desert

Developed by American Nevada Co. beginning in 1978, Green Valley is largely regarded as the first master-planned community in Las Vegas, though it actually lies to the southeast in the city limits of Henderson.

Still, there’s a veritable distinction between Henderson, an industrial town sprung during World War II, and Green Valley. This 8,400-acre community is about 15 minutes from the Strip and McCarran International Airport and provides a serene, suburban lifestyle for roughly 75,000 residents. Construction of the 215 Beltway in the 1990s, linking U.S. Highway 95 with Interstate 15, made it easy for Green Valley residents to commute to the Strip and other parts of Las Vegas Valley.

Green Valley Ranch, located within Green Valley’s master plan, offers a mix of residential and commercial uses, including 4,000 homes, more than 200 acres of parks, walking paths and the city of Henderson performing arts pavilion.

Station Casinos, in a joint venture with American Nevada Co., built Green Valley Ranch Resort in the late 1990s, bringing casino entertainment and upscale dining options to the area. The District at Green Valley Ranch added a unique collection of retailers and restaurants, including P.F. Chang’s, Cheesecake Factory, Panera Bread, Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ, Ann Taylor Loft, Coach and Whole Foods. About 50 condo units were built above the retail space. Features

Green Valley’s luxury real estate includes the guard-gated Grand Legacy with Mediterranean-style homes built around Legacy Golf Club; Quail Ridge Estates with custom properties up to 13,000 square feet; The Fountains with manicured landscaping, tennis courts and park; and Estates at Green Valley with small and large custom homes, tennis courts and walking trails.
